Earth Stewards Travel Club exists to bring travellers together around one idea: that tourism should have a positive impact on the places people visit. That's on the communities, livelihoods, habitats and wildlife.
We run small-group experiences with local environmental organisations, nature reserves and community initiatives, to connect you with the people already doing the work of restoring rivers, waterways and green spaces. When you join us, you take part in that work rather than watching it from a distance. You get to see how these initiatives are organised and take those learnings home with you. And you do it alongside other travellers who care about the same things, which is how the best friendships and collaborations start.
We set the face value of our tickets ourselves. For example, an afternoon eco-tour in London might be £30. Of that £30, 15% (£4.50) of every ticket goes directly to the non-profit partner(s) involved in the experience.
You may pay more than £30 depending on where you book. Ticketing platforms add their own booking and processing fees, which differ from platform to platform and go straight to them. Our 15% is always calculated on our face value, never on the platform's fees, so our partners receive the same amount whichever route you book through.
Earth Stewards Travel Club is an initiative of Ecosy Travel Ltd, a certified B Corp and registered social enterprise. Our articles of association commit us to directing at least 51% of our profits to our social mission, to reducing the climate impact of travel and tourism. That's a legal commitment written into how the company is constituted, not a policy we can quietly drop.
We're still a relatively young company and are working towards making a profit, so we're still deciding exactly how the profit share that goes towards are mission will be spent. What we can tell you is the commitment: at least 51%, always. The donations to our non-profit partners sit within that 51%, because they are part of how we deliver the mission rather than something separate from it.
Ticket income keeps the initiative running and funds our wider work building carbon monitoring and transparency tools for tourism businesses, so that independent accommodation providers can measure their footprint, share it with prospective guests, and work to reduce it. Community action at destination and better data, presented to you at the point of booking, are our two pathways towards the vision of a regenerative tourism industry.

Earth Stewards Travel Club is run by Ecosy Travel, a London-based social enterprise and certified B Corp working to reduce the climate impact of travel and tourism.
Tourism is one of the hardest sectors to decarbonise, and accommodation is one of its largest and least visible contributions. Most hotels, guesthouses and independent properties have never measured their emissions, and almost no traveller can find out what a night's stay at their specific holiday accommodation costs the planet before they book. We're working to change that from both ends: giving accommodation businesses the tools to understand and reduce their footprint, and giving travellers the information to make decisions that align with their values.
We're developing software, ecolodgical, that helps independent accommodation businesses measure their carbon footprint on a per-guest, per-night basis in line with industry best practice, the GHG Protocol and the SBTi standards. From there, we enable properties to communicate that figure openly to guests through carbon labelling, and use the data to set reduction targets and track progress.
For small and independent operators in particular, this kind of measurement has been out of reach: too expensive, too technical, or built for large hotel groups with sustainability teams. We're building it for the properties that make up most of the sector but have the least support.
Our longer-term vision is to connect this data into the mainstream booking journey, so that verified, comparable carbon information sits alongside price, location and reviews when someone chooses where to stay. When travellers can compare accommodation on credible data rather than vague green claims, low-carbon becomes a competitive advantage rather than a cost, and the incentive to reduce emissions reaches the whole sector.
Earth Stewards Travel Club is how we bring that mission to the ground level: connecting people to nature and community initiatives where they live and travel, and taking practical action together. Ticket fees from our tours and events go directly towards running the club and developing the technology behind ecolodgical. As a social enterprise, we're commited to reinvesting the majority of our profits in the mission, so booking a tour supports both the community programme and the wider work to reduce the climate impact of tourism.
